THE TOM COUGHLIN JAY FUND FOUNDATION

The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund Foundation was created to provide families with emotional, financial, and practical support to deal with childhood cancer. Coach Coughlin created it to honor one of his young team players Jay McGillis who lost his battle with leukemia within eight months of his diagnosis. Coach Coughlin was heartbroken and saw the amount of strain and pressure caused to Jay and his family. He vowed to find a way to help families with children battle cancer if he ever got the chance. For over 25 years, the foundation has helped over 5000 families in Northeast Florida and the New York/New Jersey Metropolitan Area and given away over $15 million in grants.

SUSAN G. KOMEN RACE FOR THE CURE

As one of the world's largest communities of people fighting to end breast cancer, the foundation advocates for patients, funds research, and increase access to quality care. The community is made up of local activists and over 100,000 survivors across 120 cities committed to saving lives through screening and treatment programs and research that will lead to a cure. The organization has invested over 2.9 billion dollars towards research and community health outreach and has helped reduce deaths from breast cancer by 40 percent between 1989-2016. This global movement is determined to overcome barriers to breast health and treatment and continue to pursue a cure.

PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT

Project Homeless Connect provides comprehensive services to help people experiencing homelessness get the care they need to get back on their feet and move forward. Through a collective effort by the San Diego community, the organization provides the resources required to support people who have lost their homes or are on the verge of homelessness.
